The Xbox Live has been slowly expanding into all aspects of entertainment, and with Microsoft acquiring such a huge archive of broadcasting licenses, the Xbox 360 has become a predominant figure in the media on demand department. The latest addition to Xbox Live features are the CinemaNow and the Crackle Apps, which are available for download. BestBuy's CinemaNow is a simple app that allows all Xbox live Gold members to rent or buy several movies and series for a nominal value. On the other hand Sony Picture's Crackle allows all Xbox live users to download several movies, series, and anime absolutely for free. CinemaNow is only available to US regions, whilst Crackle is only available to US, UK, Canada, and Australia. A spokesperson from Microsoft also added that features like these two applications will keep on rolling out to improve the entertainment experience of the Xbox Live.
