Seeing as the WiiU console has been having persistently sluggish sales ever since its launch, you would think that Nintendo would be focusing their energy on something which can relatively boost sales. Instead they just announced that they have tackled the current console owners' complaints regarding the game pad's short battery life. Nintendo have just put a WiiU Gamepad 2500mAh battery back on the online store and is retailing for $32. The battery comes with a complimentary screw driver and instruction manual so that you can swap the pack yourself. The old battery could last between 3 to 5 hours, whist the new one will give up to 8 hours of gameplay time.
