After filing for bankruptcy earlier last month, THQ reassured the public that business will continue operation as usual, but despite this THQ will be auctioning off its franchises. According to Distressed Debt Investing, the auction shall be held this January the 22nd, and representatives from Ubisoft, Warner Bros. and EA will be attending in a bid to buy their assets, which include, Saints Row, Company of Heroes, Metro, and Homefront. The future of the franchises is still unsure, as are this year's releases, but we'll get a clear picture once the auction is over and the new owners can divulge their plans for the franchises.
