During last night's VGX Awards, Square Enix showed off the latest story trailer for their upcoming stealth title, Thief. Square also revealed that the game will be coming with a companion App for your smartphone/tablet which will contain character bios, information related to the storyline, and thief related news. A premium version of the application will be connected in real time with the game, so the app will be updated immediately with your in game stats, and will allow you to interact with items in the game, for example reading a note off a newspaper. The premium app will be given out for free to anyone pre ordering the the game from Gamestop, which will also come inclusive of the soundtrack.
Thief is set to hit the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbone, and Xbox 360 late next February.
