Square have officially released the debut trailer for their upcoming reboot of the Thief franchise. The trailer shows off the new character as he strikes a victim, and gives us a brief look at the environments and character stylization, which look quite similar to dishonored. Perhaps the biggest reveal in this trailer is that the voice actor, Stephen Russell, has been replaced, leaving some fans of the original series disappointed, even though the new voice actor is still quite similar and matches the Garret's character. This same situation occurred earlier last week when it was revealed that in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid title, David Hayter would not be the voice of Snake.
Square have failed to confirm if the trailer was running in game or as just cinematics, and since it will be available for next generation consoles it is really hard to tell. For more information about the game click here.
