The Witcher 2 shall finally be having a global launch on the Xbox 360 platform this coming April the 17th. CD Projekt RED announced that this version of the title will be improved, tweaked, and boast four hours of additional gameplay. The developers stressed the point that this game is not a ported version of the title, but a full adaptation, which promises extremely good visuals, new targeting and camera system and several other new features to improve the experience on the different platform. The game shall be split on two DVD discs, some bugs have been eliminated and the mechanics and visuals have been tweaked to suit this platform.
The Witcher 2 will be available these two versions;
- The standard edition, which includes a world map, quest handbook, and the official soundtrack of the game.
- And The Dark Edition which includes all the standard edition bonuses, a concept artbook, the making of DVD, some cool exclusive decals, and a Witcher medallion.
In order to avoid disappointment for the PC users due to the bonuses offered for Xbox 360 users, CD Projekt RED announced that before the official launch on the new platform all PC users shall upgraded to the Enhanced Edition for free.
