Sony will be recalling several malfunctioning 40inch LCD models due to a severe malfunction. The number of sets to be recalled is just around 1.6 million worldwide and come from the 2007-08 product line, though these models kept selling even in 2010. The sets listed below are at risk of developing the malfunction that overheats the sets and some components are reported to melt
