SCE has just announced today that it will be decreasing the activation limit of PSN DLC titles from five consoles to two. This system will be implemented next November 18, when Sony will hold a mandatory PlayStation Network maintenance. Any title purchased after that date can be only installed and played on two separate systems. Sony will be also launching a new website whereby users can manage their PSN titles, in a bid to simplify activasions and deactivations of their purchased content. This move is yet another step forward in trying to increase sales that originate from the PSN, after all the turnover from DLC packages and titles is much higher that hard media.
