Nintendo unveil the Wii U

Nintendo have just unveiled their upcoming home console, which is officially called the Wii U. The Wii U will hit the shelves in 2012, but there is no clear release date for it. The console will be capable to deliver HD graphics and will be able to use all network based features found on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The console will be backward compatible with all games and peripherals from the predecessing console. The launch titles include;

  • Batman Arkham City
  • Tekken
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Ghost Recon Online
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • and much more

The controller is the best feature in this console as it works both as a touch screen controller, a media sharing centre, and also home based mobile platform. The controller has a front facing camera, dual analogs, a 6.5″ OLED touchscreen, Rumble, microphone, accelerometer, and a gyro sensor. Features include video calling, cross platform game sharing, and media sharing. We can't wait to get our hands on this revolutionary controller which will mark the next generation of gaming.
