Microsoft's most popular franchise, The Flight Simulator series, will be making a comeback under a new name, Microsoft Flight. Airplane enthusiasts will be glad to learn that this title will be free to download next Spring, and if you can't wait to see it, you can sign up for the Beta here. To sweeten the deal, Microsoft also announced than every user who sign in to their Games for Windows – Live account will get free content including;
- The Boeing Stearman Plane
- Extra Missions
- and access to all Achievements and an Online Pilot Profile
The game will be also fully compatible with any Flight Simulator peripheral for PC use, joysticks, standard Mice and Keyboards, and also Xbox 360 Controllers. The game is set on an island in Hawaii, and amalgamates all the previous gameplay mechanics and controls, with new innovative challenges and a tweaked look and feel.
