LinkedIn is one of the best spots on the web to network, and establish new business and work contacts. The company had revealed that more than 40 percent of its users, are currently using mobile to visit its main site. For that reason, LinkedIn has launched its first standalone mobile application, called LinkedIn Job Search.
This application can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store, and for now, it is available exclusively for iPhone.
The company ensures that your job search application is private. In its official blog, LinkedIn wrote;
“Our goal is to help make this process easier for you and to help you be discreet. Everything you do within the app will be completely private and not shared with your network.”
Another objective is to maximize your time, for example when you’re in line for coffee or stuck waiting for a delayed flight you can use the new application to look for a job.
Some others features are:
- Quick and easy search based on title, location, or keywords
- Recommended jobs based on saved searches, jobs you have viewed, and your LinkedIn profile
- Notifications when new jobs match what you’re looking for
- A super-simple application process using your LinkedIn profile
LinkedIn Job Search is putting the job finding power in the palm of its users’ hands.
