Konami just announced a new IP from development team Gaijin Entertainment which will be a World War 2 flight simulator and will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Birds of Steel will recreate 20 historical battles from World War 2 offering the gamer a new perspective on WW2 games. Some of the missions include the battle of Midway, the battle of the Coral Sea, the attack on Pearl Harbour, and yes Malta is confirmed to be featured in the game. The weather effects, textures, and planes are promised to be nothing short of amazing. The game will also feature an imersive online mode were gamers can meet up to complete co-op missions, and just head on to a crazy dog fight.
