The racing genre has not been as popular as other genres during this last generation, and to try to keep things fresh developers have been trying to implement new features which will turn their game into a unique title.
Codemaster's upcoming racing title, Grid 2, will feature a new feature called Liveroutes, which turns street racing into a more unpredictable experience. Liveroutes basically opens and closes pathways and junctions during a race, differentiating each and every lap, and puting to the test the player's racing abilities and reactiveness. This feature will be implemented in the Paris, Chicago, Miami, Barcelona, and Dubai Tracks, and provides millions of route possibilities. Grid 2 will be racing to the shelves this May the 28th and will be available for the PC, PS3, and the Xbox 360.
