The long awaited new installment in the Gran Turismo franchise has been officially announced during the 15th Anniversary of Gran Turismo Conference at the Silverstone Circuit. It is scheduled for release during the 2013 holiday season for the Playstation 3.
It will feature a completely new graphic and physics engine incorporating Adaptive Tesselation to create the most realistic console graphics to date. Gran Turismo 6 will also feature 1200 cars, 33 locations, 71 layouts, and a new user interface. The title will also feature Multi device compatibility which offers community features which can be accessed via PC, Tablet, or Smart phone. For more information check out the press release here.
