EA cut down number of releases

Giant publisher and developer Electronic Arts will be reducing the number of games to be released annually for the second year in a row. EA decided they will dropping the number of games released from 36 to 22, in a bid to invest more capital on the big titles, making good games better. EA also announced that only one Need for Speed title is to be released per year.

In the US the top three EA games sold were Madden NFL, Battlefield, and Medal of Honor, on the other hand in the EU the three big EA titles were FIFA, The Sims, and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.
