It looks like the UK based developer behind the Harry Potter series, EA Brightlight, has been shutdown. The developer employed less than 100 personnel, but it looks like several teams within EA have absorbed the majority of thee personnel. After the amalgamation with Bullfrog Productions back in 1995, EA Brightlight studio (which was then known as EA UK) took part in the creation of cult classics such as the original Syndicate, Populous, Dungeon Keeper, and others. The company gradually changed their focus to family entertainment, and started working on adapting J.K. Rowland's Harry Potter Series. With this closure the only UK based developer under EA's arms is Burnout creators, Criterion entertainment.
