Ever since Disney acquired Lucas and all its subsidiaries last year, several rumors have surfaced regarding the future of the company's gaming section, LucasArts. Unfortunately today it was revealed that LucasArts and all its subsidiaries will be shut down, leading into to 150 redundancies. All projects under development by the studios will be canceled, and these include 1313 and First Assault. Disney's vision on how to tackle the gaming market is different from the way Lucas ran the business, and in such a competitive business, it was a hard decision to take in order to cut the risks and try to find a better way to position themselves in the market.
