Sony Pictures have secured the rights to ‘Console Wars’, an upcoming book based on the true events surrounding the battle between Sega and Nintendo back in the 1990s.
The movie is reportedly going to be co-directed and co-written by Seth Rogen with Evan Goldberg also tied to the movie. Sony are seeking to replicate the success they made with Social Network, which described the behind the scenes story that shaped the internet giant, Facebook.
