Video Game movie adaptations are always tough project, especially with the high expectation of hard core fans. This past three years we have seen a lot of announcements for video game projects from Hollywood, but not even one single title has effectively made any project. The Bioshock movie adaptation which started preparation early in 2009 has now been put on hold after loosing it's second director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Presnadilo was brought in by Universal after the first director Gore Verbinksi bailed on the project due to budget issues and the rating. It's clear now that this movie is now in development hell and the future of the project is still unsure.
