Apple yesterday sent out invites to journalists for a press conference which they shall be holding this March the 7th. The invite stated that Apple will be revealing something new that must be seen and touched. When taking a glance at the past product launches we can only assume that they shall be revealing the new iPad. We have no information regarding specs. other than pure speculation, so until the press conference is held we cannot really confirm anything.
