Technology giant Apple Inc. have just announced the acquisition of the Israel based 3D chip developer PrimeSense LTD. The two companies have been in the talks since July, and finally reached a deal for an undisclosed amount of money.
PrimeSense LTD are perhaps best known for their work in 3D motion interaction, and the development of the motion sensor used for the popular Xbox 360 Kinect peripheral. Apple Inc. have failed to reveal any details about the buyout, but rumors about Apple's alleged TV prototype in the works have become stronger, although Motion control in the next iPhone would be a more plausible explanation.
