Today Sony, Ustream and Twitch have revealed a few statistics regarding the PS4 share feature.
Sony have confirmed that 2 million PS4s have been sold worldwide. There has been 800,000 gameplay broadcasts and 7.1 million spectate sessions, which is very remarkable. They are also estimating 20 million minutes of live gameplay streamed since November 15.
I personally thought that the share feature was just another gimmick put there to help sell PS4s. To be honest I have used it a few times to upload pictures to my Facebook account and it does get very addictive. And even the fact that a lot of people do not have PS4s as of yet, it feels like you are bragging.
