Steam Controller Delayed

Gaming giant Valve have announced that their first peripheral, the Steam Controller, has been delayed. Valve’s Eric Hope has revealed that following the feedback gathered from playtests, the peripheral will need to have several improvements and tweaks, which will take longer than previously expected to implement.

“Obviously we’re just as eager as you are to get a Steam Machine in your hands. But our number one priority is making sure that when you do, you’ll be getting the best gaming experience possible. We hope you’ll be patient with us while we get there.”

The new release time window has been announced to be sometime in 2015 rather that later this year. The Steam Controller was announced last year in a bid to promote the Steam brand which has slowly evolving into a multi-media and hardware brand. Later the controller received he first revision following early hiccups.
