Criterion Founders Part Ways

Company V.P. and Creative Director Alex Ward along side studio director Fiona Sperry have officially parted way with the popular racing title development studio they co-founded together, Criterion Games. The studio is widely popular thanks to their out of the ordinary racing franchise, Burnout, which proved to be very successful throughout the years. Alex Ward had stated that most of the staff making up Criterion had left the studio to join NFS Rivals development team, Ghost Games, which left the team with only 17 members.

Criterion Games will now be lead by NFS Most Wanted Executive producer Matt Webster, who is already geared up for the studio's next game. Ward and Sperry on the other hand will be founding a brand new games studio, and Ward has expressed the desire in working on projects other than racing titles.
