Following the earlier report that Sony have abandoned The Last Guardian trademark, Sony have announced that the game is still in development, and have applied to revive the trademark, faulting the failure to renew the trademark as an administrative error.

The game has been in development for nearly six years now, and no announcements or news have surfaced from the development team, since Ueda left the team. Sony failed to comment to whether this game will be released for the Playstation 4, or if it’s still on track for a Playstation 3 release, a question which they have been dodging since the announcement of the PS4.
