AC Unity Season Pass Cancelled

Ubisoft have officially cancelled the Assassin’s Creed Unity Season Pass, due to the unforeseen technical issues and bugs which riddled the anticipated continuation of the series.

As a compensation for the disappointment of their core audience, the upcoming Dead Kings DLC will be free for everyone. Anyone who purchased the season pass, before this announcement, will be rewarded with a free digital copy of a Ubi title from a list of selected titles, which include; Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, and Rayman Legends, amongst others.

Ubisoft Montreal CEO, Yannis Mallat, stated;

“Unfortunately, at launch, the overall quality of the game was diminished by bugs and unexpected technical issues. I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of Ubisoft and the entire Assassin’s Creed team. These problems took away from your enjoyment of the game, and kept many of you from experiencing the game at its fullest potential.”

Details on how to claim the free title will be released in due time, till then Unity players will enjoy the third patch of the game which targeted over 300 bugs and glitches.
